Home Education

Some families feel like they have no choice but to home educate, that it’s a last resort, others realise early on that their child will not thrive in a school environment.

Whatever the reason, you are likely to find that Home Education allows you to support your child. As their needs change, you adapt and learn new ways to support them without the battle of getting the school to understand and act accordingly. I know this as I home educate my own SEN child!

Why home educate?

The decision to home educate is often made for many reasons such as SEN or mental health needs, relocation or a need for targeted yet flexible education.  At Top SEN Tutor I provide EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) support and create personalised home education programmes that are highly effective and nurturing educational experiences. These can transform a child’s feelings towards learning and life; as well as improving their academic results.

Each student is given a personalised assessment, timetable and wellbeing plan and support is individually tailored to each child’s needs and passions. As a result, every child who is home educated with Top SEN Tutor enjoys a rich and therapeutic educational experience. Our carefully tailored support can start at any stage in the academic year and is delivered online.
