My Story
My name is Sacha and I am a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS), child and adolescent therapist and special education consultant. I have been working with children and young people for over 20 years. I hold a Master's degree in Special and Inclusive Education as well a Master's degree in Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy. In addition, I am a literacy specialist and qualified dyslexia teacher/assessor registered with the British Dyslexia Association. Most importantly, I am a mum to an amazing special needs child!
I work together with other SEN specialists to provide online and face-to-face SEN tuition, consultation and assessments. I have over twenty years of teaching experience in primary, secondary and special education schools and as such, have extensive experience in supporting children with autism, ADHD and behavioural difficulties. Therapy sessions are available to all. In addition, as a literacy specialist and qualified dyslexia teacher/assessor registered with the British Dyslexia Association, I support children who are struggling with maths and English and I also provide specialist dyslexia reports and access arrangements for statutory exams.
Due to my wealth of experience, I have sound knowledge of both the primary and secondary curriculum, as well as the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice and special education law. As the mother of a child with ADHD and autism I also understand all aspects of the SEN experience.
My students enjoy great exam success as my approach is easy to follow and I also take time to understand each child that I work with. Indeed, I am 100% dedicated to the success of my students and believe that each individual child is a unique gift that has unlimited potential. Expect bespoke, lively and interactive lessons, as I have a strong commitment to fully developing the individual strengths and talents of each individual pupil.
